Joanna

Joanna is deaf, trans gendered woman with a multi-cultural background. Joanna works as an Equality and Diversity Manager and she has been most fortunate in finding an employer, a church, community and social groups, who accept her for who she is, and judge her on what she can do and not on what she can’t do or upon what she looks like.

Joanna shares stories from her life and growing up in the north of England to present day.

Joanna represents PCS proud, the Public and Commercial Services Union’s LGBT group at conferences and training events around the country.
