Peter lives with his partner following their recent civil partnership ceremony. He talks about his life leading up to ‘coming out’ to family, friends and colleagues. The impact that it has had on his life and some of the circumstances that lead to him keeping the fact that he was gay a secret.

His current role involves training police officers and staff in a variety of areas including teaching, legislation, diversity and fairness.
